“ Not as good as It used to be but still some of the best pizza in the Pawleys/Litchfield area. ”
“ Some of the best pizza out there but sometimes the restaurant is under staffed and the old geezer can't deal with a busy night. I called 10 times and was put on hold every time, then I showed up to order a couple pizzas and was told to come back in an hour to pick up my pizza. When I showed up an hour later the pizzas were not even in the oven. Straight bullshit, but the pizza is great. ”

“ Wow just wow. Best pepperoni pizza I may have ever had. For you Ohio folks very similar to Donato's but with better crust and even more toppings. Thinner crust crunchy pie with "cup" pepperoni which curl and had a little spice to them. So good we got on night one and our last nite. Salad was also very good and deluxe and cheese pies were good as well. So good I've been thinking about this since we left town and looking for vacation spots for next year I said let's consider Pawleys because of this pie. ”
“ My brother told me Jim Grote worked at on of these before he opened up the first Donato's, and it was also the basis of his franchises. I'm a born skeptic. So: The crust is very close. Better, imo. It's more done. Massey's does not use scales, which I learned was actually a great thing, because I didn't feel like I got screwed. The toppings were piled and were fantastic. The fella building pizzas was friendly and accommodating, unlike the lady taking orders. This is not the cheapest option, but it is well worth the cost. ”
“ Just passing thru town and stopped at the craft fair that was happening in the plaza and got hungry and Massey's was right there and what a surprise I got! I'm jealous of the people that live in this area! This pizza is something to write home about. The crust has a firm, crunchy bottom that holds the toppings well. The cheese blend with added spices was a very flavorful bite. ONE BITE, EVERYBODY KNOWS THE RULES: solid 8.9 - I also had the steak bomb sub (typical cheese, onions, peppers) on a soft white roll. Was just OK. The star was the pizza! If you like pepperoni, try their pizza. It is COVERED with pepperoni...I'm talking about not one open area to see anything under this sheet of pepperoni! WOW! Spoke with the owner a bit and staffing issues is causing a slowdown in the response time of getting customer orders. Most regulars understand and she apologized to us (I thought our food came out quite promptly.) A gorgeous dining room topped off this establishment. Again people of Pawley's Island, you are truly blessed to have access to a fine pizza establishment like Massey's. ”
